Cage Nuts and Screws

DESCRIPTION

Avalon Cage Nuts and Screws include M6 Snap-in Cage nuts, screws and plastic washers. When each side tab on the nut body is compressed, the nut can be inserted into the square hole in the rack rail. These cage nuts are used in relay racks and four post racks with square holes (which is like 99% of rack systems). The screws are 12mm long, which is 2mm longer than most. The extra length is great when you're dealing with equipment that has thicker rack ears or you just need the extra length to make everything fit. The plastic washers are a nice touch when you don't wish to turn the screws directly against the rails which often scrapes off the factory powder-coat. These are most often used for mounting of servers, rack shelves, switches and other networking equipment.
